All he wanted was a Gharwali.......

All He Wanted Was A Gharwali

Behind every successful man there is a woman…yeah from "behind" not "alongside"! This age old saying clearly explains that successful, ambitious men don't want a competitor but a supporter from the back, from home from basically his wife, his "Gharwali"!

News of Imran and Reham Khan spilt after only 10 months of marriage came from Bani Gala on Friday morning finally conforming all the rumors and speculations , going around...

It is believed that she wanted to get into politics and was not ready to back down, he wanted someone to be his confidant whom he could talk to after a stressful day!
She wanted a career and fame, he wanted a caretaker and a homemaker...

Gender roles had always played a major role throughout our history. Gender roles decided who did the dishes and who mowed the lawn. Throughout history, gender roles, either imposed by society or created within the home, have altered dynamics in the house and in the social circles. However, gender roles have changed throughout time. Gender roles are the behaviors, attitudes, values and other things that a particular culture considers appropriate for males and females. Gender roles, in effect, play a major role in the quality of a marriage and how people want their ideal marriage to be. In majority of marriages across the globe and typically in most of the cultures husband takes on the role as breadwinner and the wife fulfills the role of homemaker.

Typically en want to be taken care of. First by their mothers and then by their wives. Men really do want to be taken care of especially those who have a very busy career. A good politician cherishes his life partner as his trustworthy companion not as a competitor. The family dynamics are pretty much same in the East and west. Even in the case of the world renowned political power couple the Clintons, Hillary waited till Bill Clinton’s retirement to launch her political career.

Imran Khan’s divorce with Reham Khan has not come as a surprise since rumors of troubles in their marriage had been doing the rounds for some time and they were reportedly living separately. Her urgent leap towards fame and politics is considered the biggest reason for the spilt.

I am a woman and believe that women are strong intelligent individuals who can be anything and definitely they can be great politicians but their careers and jobs should not damage their relationships with family.

Another Question is why a 64 year old politician could not "judge" a 43 year old woman...

Isn't politics an age old game of analysis ?
