On the 70th anniversary of liberation of Auschwitz Camp I would like to share a remarkable story in Tehran, Iran .......

A MUSLIM LEADER AND A JEWISH CHARITABLE HOSPITAL

I have read many articles on the Muslim / Jewish conflicts and their hatred towards one another but a story in the New York Times caught my attention . Irani President Dr Hassan Rouhani has donated $400,000 to a Jewish charitable hospital Dr Sapir located on the outskirts of Tehran on the Mustafa Alkhomeni street in a very religious Shia area of the city .
The Tehran Jewish Committee assist in the financial maintenance of the complex, which is owned by the Tehran Jewish Committee.Christian Science Monitor reported that one cause for the recent co-existence between Jews and Muslims in Tehran, "has been gratitude for the Dr. Sapir Hospital"....

Dr. Morsadegh, the director of the Dr. Sapir Hospital and Charity Center is working in this hospital for a very long time . Dr Sapir hospital was founded almost 50 years back and is the only Jewish hospital in Iran .Dr Morsadegh is very dedicated to this hospital and to all the patients who are both Muslims and Non Muslims .
“I speak English, I pray in Hebrew, but I think in Persian,” said Dr. Morsadegh, a surgeon who is also a member of Parliament. “I am Iranian, am Iranian-Jewish.”.......he says .
The Dr. Sapir charity hospital was founded by and is operated by Jews, but treats everyone , it has a large Muslim staff.

At least 25,000 Jews live in Iran. It is the largest Jewish population in the Middle East outside Israel.

Just wondering if one person can forget the political bickering and help humanity why can't all of us change .
Can't any one among us be the " trail blazer " ???
